CARE GUIDES

Thank you for choosing our candles, soaps, and wax melts. This care guide is written to be clear and easy to understand, even if you are new to using these products. Following these instructions will help ensure the best performance, longer product life, and safe use.

Please read before use.

Candle Care Guide

First Burn (Very Important):

  • The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the container.

  • This usually takes 2–4 hours.

  • This step helps prevent tunneling and allows the candle to burn evenly over time.

Before Each Burn:

  • Trim the wick to ¼ inch (about the width of a pencil eraser).

  • Trimming the wick helps control the flame and reduces smoke or soot.

While Burning:

  • Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.

  • Keep away from drafts, fans, open windows, children, pets, and flammable materials.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

If the Flame Is Too High:

  • Extinguish the candle.

  • Allow it to cool completely.

  • Trim the wick and relight.

When to Stop Using:

  • Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

  • Burning beyond this point may cause the container to overheat.

WAXMELT Care Guide

How to Use:

  • Place 1–2 wax melt cubes in an approved wax warmer.

  • Use only warmers designed specifically for wax melts.

While in Use:

  • Do not add water or other substances to the wax.

  • Do not overfill the warmer.

  • Never leave a wax warmer unattended.

Changing or Removing Wax:

  • Allow wax to cool and harden before removal.

  • Gently remove the hardened wax or absorb melted wax with cotton balls while warm (not hot).

SOAP Care Guide

Our soaps are handcrafted and require proper care to extend their life.

How to Use:

  • Lather with water and apply to skin.

  • Rinse thoroughly.

  • For external use only.

Storage Between Uses:

  • Allow soap to dry completely between uses.

  • Use a soap dish with drainage to prevent the soap from sitting in water.

Longevity Tips:

  • Store unused soap in a cool, dry place.

  • Cutting larger bars in half may help extend overall use.

Skin Sensitivity:

  • Perform a patch test before full use.

  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

  • Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Storage & General Safety:

  • Store products away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and extreme temperatures.

  • Color or texture variations are normal in handmade products and do not affect performance.

  • Candles and wax melts are not edible.
